Chief Executive Officer (Health) coordinates and supervises all the activities of this department. The major functions of this department are:

  • To provide the diagnostic facilities like laboratory tests, x-rays and ambulance services

  • Availability of adequate number of benches, fans, lighting and drinking water in the OPD / waiting areas
  • Round the clock cleanliness
  • Functionality of air conditioners and generators
  • Safe disposal of hospital waste by outsourcing
  • Cleanliness of toilets in the wards/waiting areas including necessary repair
  • Availability of soap/towels in the washrooms 
  • Availability of free medicines / supplies
  • Functionality of biomedical equipment by outsourcing
  • Proper dress coding of employees
  • Spending of sufficient hours of clinical / non-clinical staff to be ensured through biometric attendance
  • Online inventory / updation of biomedical equipment and medicines
  • Urgent repair of biomedical equipment / dental units
  • Provision of 24/7 vaccination services at the THQ Hospitals
  • To improve service delivery, MS THQ Hospitals have been empowered to suspend the employee from BS-01 to BS-17
  • Installation of incinerators at THQ Hospitals Jaranwala and Samundri
  • Provision of additional generators to match the load with the air conditioners at four THQ Hospitals
  • Provision of generators at the 7-RHC’s
