What will be the process of getting fard in new system?

Top
The right holders will have to go to the service center. The staff will search their record by their name, father / husband name, khewat number and will desire for CNIC. The service center staff will take the thumb impression through a bio-metric device and a photo. The right holder will get copy of their record within 10-15 minutes after paying the specified fee.  
   
What will be the process of mutation? Top
Anyone who intends to mutate any land can apply for mutation verbally of in form of written application in the service center. The staff will register their request and provide them the challan for payment of specified fee and will fix a date for next visit. On that scheduled date the buyer, seller along with the witnesses will visit the service center wherein the Revenue Officer will decide the mutation. In case of approval of mutation both buyers and sellers will be provided with a copy of the mutation and updated fard-e-malkiat, free of cost, with the photographs of the buyers printed thereon.  
   
How much time will be required for mutation of inheritance? Top
The right holders will be given a date for next visit to service center within next 15 days after the registration of their request for mutation, in order to get their mutation decided.  
   
Can a mutation be decided without witnesses? Top
All the mutation will be attested in presence of both parties (buyer and seller) as well as witnesses.  
   
Majority of right holders / villagers are illiterate therefore getting such automated / sophisticated services will be difficult for them? Top
The LRMIS is user friendly system. The staff over there will be well qualified very cooperative and will guide the right holder in case of any difficulty.  
   
Will signature from Patwari be required on fard-e-malkiat for registration of a transaction? Top
Signature from Patwari will not be required on fard-e-malkiat for registration of any transaction.  
   
Who will issue the pass book? Top
The pass book will be prepared by the patwari and verified from the service center.  

Registration of Birth

 
Where shall I contact to register the birth of my child? Top
Office of relevant union council within 60 days shall be contacted for registration of birth.  
   
What are necessary documents needed to be submitted along with application? Top
  • NIC copy of parents
  • Birth certificate issued by Hospital/Traditional birth attendant 
  • Form provide by Union Council duly filled in along with signature and thumb impression
 
Is there any fee for registration? Top
The registration is absolutely free. However, fee of Rs. 100/- will be charged for issuance of NADRA Computerize Birth Registration Certificate.  
   
Where should I submit fee? Top
Secretary UC will receive fee for issuance of Computerized Registration Certificate.  
   
What is the duration of the procedure? Top
  • 3 working days in case of normal registration
  • 7 working days in case of late registration (61 days – 7 years)
  • 20 working days for registration beyond age of 7 years
 

Registration of Death

 
Which department shall issue death certificate? Top
Office of the relevant Union Council or Municipal Committee shall issue Computerized Death Registration Certificate  
   
Are there any registration forms available? Top
Form-D of the UC / MC Birth / Death Registration {Model} Bye-Laws, 2016 is for the registration of deaths.  
   
Who shall provide documentary evidence? Top
For Issuance of Computerized Death Registration Certificate from the UC / MC concerned, the applicant will provide all documentary evidences including certificate / parchi issued by  Ghorkan of the Qabristan where deceased was buried, etc.

Registration of Marriage

 
Which department shall issue the marriage certificate? Top
Nikah Khwan gets the Nikah Nama registered from the Nikah Registrar within whose jurisdiction marriage is solemnized. The concerned Union Council or Municipal Committee issues Computerized Marriage Registration Certificate.  
Are there any registration forms available? Top
   
Yes, relevant Registration Forms are available at the office of UC/MC.  
What documents should accompany the application? Top
  • Copy of Nikah Nama duly registered by the Nikah Registrar.
  • NICs of husband & wife along with copies of their parent’s NICs.
 
What is the duration of process for registration / certificate? Top
3 working days (usually)

Is there any fee for certificate & where to deposit?  
Rs. 300/- shall be charged for issuance of computerized Marriage Registration Certificate which will be submitted at the office of concerned UC/MC, along with application in this regard.
